Privacy policy

What we collect and why

Orders: when you buy, we keep an order record with your name, email address, shipping address, the items and customization you chose, the amounts paid, and payment references. We use it to make your pieces, ship them, answer questions, handle refunds, and meet accounting obligations. Order records live in our database and in encrypted backups.

Payments: our payment processor handles all payments on its own secure pages. Your card number goes to that processor, never to us, and it handles your card details under its own privacy policy.

Email: messages you send to our addresses, including replies to receipts, are stored in our mail system so we can read and answer them.

Request builder: drafts stay in your browser tab. If you send a request through the site, our server emails it to our own contact address, and when the human check is passed, a copy to you. The server does not store requests.

Services we rely on

We rely on a small set of outside providers to run this site: payment processing, email delivery and receipt, a check that a request comes from a person, traffic measurement, video playback for print logs, and the hosting for our server and database. Each one is here because running the shop requires it, not because it earns us anything from your data. We share only what a provider needs for its part of the job, and we do not sell personal information.

Cookies and tracking

We use an outside analytics service to count visits and see which pages people use. It also measures shopping steps: viewing a design, adding one to the cart, starting checkout, and completing an order. A completed order is reported from our verified payment webhook, using an anonymous analytics identifier carried through checkout so measurement does not depend on returning from the payment page. Those events carry the order number, item names, quantities, and amounts. They never carry your name, email address, shipping address, or custom text, and the checkout link in your receipt URL is removed before anything is sent.

The analytics service sets its own cookies and reports to its provider under that provider’s privacy policy. We do not use features that track people across devices or support advertising, we do not use analytics events for ad personalization, and we do not sell personal information. If your browser or an extension blocks the script, browser visits and cart steps are not measured. A settled order is still reported with an anonymous checkout identifier generated on our server, and the site still works.

Print log videos load from an outside video service in its privacy enhanced mode and do not autoplay. When the player loads, it connects your browser to that service. Playing a video sends playback activity and may show ads that are not personalized under that service’s privacy policy.

Our own site cookie is a private session cookie for our authenticated admin area. Our payment processor sets its own cookies on its checkout pages under its own policy.

Retention and your choices

We keep order records for as long as fulfillment, accounting, tax, and dispute obligations require. Email hello@v1made.com to ask what we hold about you, correct it, or request deletion of anything the law does not require us to keep.

Children

Our designs are made to be enjoyed by anyone. The store side of the site is built for adults: orders, payment, and the email that goes with them should be handled by someone old enough to enter a contract where they live, so a parent or guardian should place the order for a younger family member.

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 sent us personal information, email hello@v1made.com and we will delete it.
